Ike Bellamy has cut hair on Main Street for twenty-two years, same chair, same radio, same six men. Lottie Ruiz has run the flower shop two doors down for eight, and every Tuesday at 4:15 she brings him a coffee and leaves before he can say anything but thank you. He has been in love with her since the second Tuesday and has never once mentioned it, because her husband was his friend and his customer, and because Ike is not a man who puts himself forward. Now Lottie's rent is going up, her shop is closing in ninety days, and she has a sister in Phoenix with a spare room. Ike has one idea, one unscrupulous landlord who owes him a favor, and no plan at all for telling her. Eight years of Tuesdays. Ninety days to fix it. A man who has never asked for anything.
