Teagan Hollis has coached Olympic lifters and one Olympic cheat. This is not going to be the hard part. Three players on her list, all of them forced into a season of supervised mentorship after an incident nobody has been allowed to read about. Dax, who is the captain and would like everyone to forget that. Owen, who doesn't talk. Matty, who does, constantly, at the wrong moments, to reporters. One rule. Nothing off the ice. Nothing on the record. They break it three times, on three road trips, in three cities that are not on the schedule. Then a photograph lands in her personal inbox, and the general manager gives her the usual choice: resign quietly, or name a name. Teagan does neither. She opens a file in her own paperwork that was never meant to be there - and takes it to the people who can actually do something about it.
