La noia e il vuoto esistenziale scandiscono le sue giornate: né lo studio né l'amore sembrano essere in grado di indicargli una direzione... Francesco Jovine (1902-1950) è stato uno scrittore e giornalista molisano. Appassionato studioso della questione meridionale, antifascista convinto, ha raccontato vividamente la storia e la società del Molise nei suoi due romanzi 'Le terre del Sacramento' e 'La signora Ava'.
