Knot Built for Rain
Faye Okafor came home to sell her grandmother's wreck of a lake property and leave by August.
The roof has other plans. So do the contractors - Ren, who fixes things slowly and correctly, and Casimir, who wants to buy the land and put a vineyard on it. And so does the quiet alpha who keeps leaving cedar on her porch at dawn and pretending it wasn't him.
Then three days of rain strand all four of them in a house with one working outlet, and Faye's first heat in a decade decides to arrive.
Small towns talk. Small towns also lend money, if you ask right and bring a plan. Faye has a plan, three alphas, and a name on a deed that isn't hers yet.
She is going to need a bigger porch.
